Wild Highland beef harvested from the Canterbury high country slow cooked in milk stout from award-winning Canterbury brewery Cassels. The addition of fried onions, garlic and black pepper make this beef pie a standout on our list of standouts.  See below for the full ingredients list. Contains gluten, egg and dairy products.

INGREDIENTS:

Wild highland beef, onion, garlic, mustard, herbs and spices, cassels milk stout, venison stock (carrots, onions, celery, tomato, herbs and spices), flour, butter, egg, milk, tapioca starch.

Consume within five days or freeze. For best results heat in an oven at 160° - 180° for 15-20 minutes. If heating from frozen, defrost fully at room temperature before heating. We don't recommend heating pies in a microwave, unless you like a soggy pie!

    So many lovely pies, what to choose? Well I had a beef and ale pie, which was extremely nice, as were the following two I ate, these pies are not petrol station joke pies, these are a serious session pie. I certainly had O D on pie today, glad I don’t live nearby, I’d be in every day, I’ll be looking forward to our trip to “the coast” in October, more pies and beer from the Shortjaw brewery, keep up the good work over in the Peoples Republic of West Coast.
